Continue your journey along the Milford Road into Fiordland, through scenes of natural beauty that have remained unchanged for many years. With the glass-roofed coach you’ll be able to gaze up at the amazing rocky mountains above. Be mesmerised by the Mirror Lakes, where on a clear day you will see the reflection of the mountains on the water’s surface. Quench your thirst at Monkey Creek, where you can drink pristine glacial water straight from the stream – nature at its purest!Travel through the stunning feat of engineering that is the Homer Tunnel, carved out of solid rock through the mountains. Marvel at The Chasm, a series of uniquely shaped rocks and potholes formed by the Cleddau River rushing into a dark narrow abyss. Finally, descend through the Cleddau Valley into Milford Sound.
Board your Milford Sound cruise on a small boutique boat and view the stunning snow-tipped mountains that surround you. Cruise past rugged cliffs that are covered in magnificent native rainforest, with powerful waterfalls that tumble hundreds of metres down into the fiord.
